I'd been contemplating this skirt for awhile and then I saw Thornberry's version and downloaded it straight away! I've been wanting a simple pull on knit maxi for ages - I made up Simplicity 1616 (unblogged) which was ok.....but not swishy enough and it was really short. Agreeably this pattern is specifically towards petite so is too short as well but at least you know it before you cut it out. Pattern Details: Size 1XL Added 3" to the lengthen line Added 3" to the waistband height (I'm 5'7" and I like my maxi's to graze the floor) Fabric is a spandex knit from Spotlight that's on sale (I bought a few metres of it and am thinking about going back for more!) I am so impressed with this pattern - I never have to do this few adjustments and the fit is pretty spot on. I'm really enjoying SBCC patterns at the moment - the whole style seems to suit what I wear and how I live. I mean I love jackets and beautiful dresses but I mostly live in pull-on pants or jeans and t-shirts! These are a basic pull-on pant with an elastic waist. They have a straightish leg. My TNT pattern for a pull on pant is my Style arc Palazzo pants. These have a straighter leg and fit closer through the thigh. Pattern details: Size 1XL Added 3" to length Scooped out front and back crotch by 1/2" Dropped front rise 1" Fabric its a poly ponte from Lincraft I found the fit really good straight out of the pattern, my ponte was pretty stretchy so I made a 1XL instead of the 2XL I am in the measurement chart.   I loved Heather Lou's version of this jacket and when I realised I have a similar fabric decided to make a version (imitation is the best form of flattery, right...right?) Fabric is a mystery herringbone from Lincraft. It pressed as if it had some wool content but I imagine it's mostly polyester. Lining is a sunsilky from the stash. I made the binding for the hem out of it too. Because my fabric has a fairly soft hand, I interfaced the entire jacket outer with a medium weft interfacing. I also added a back neck facing. Adjustments; I made an XL, graded in at the waist to a L. 1" FBA  1" wide back adjustment 1.5" to the arm width added 2" to the arm length. Doubled the back peplum width - when I made it up it just looked too flat and I wanted more gathers! Its meant to be a cropped jacket, I'm fairly short through the waist so made the length as is and it hits my waistline perfectly.
